From the course: Compositing an Alien Portal in NUKE

Using the exercise files

- If you are a premium member of lynda.com, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this course. These exercise files can be found in the "Exercise files" tab on the main course page. Here is the Exercise Files folder downloaded to my desktop. If you open it you'll see folders for each chapter that contain the Nuke scripts used in the videos. Each video starts with the Nuke script shown at the bottom of the video, then builds on it. If you want to see the finished version of a Nuke script, you would open the following one. All of the Nuke scripts are set up with relative addressing so if you leave the scripts in their original folders, all of the media will link up. All of the media is in this Media folder, this folder contains the alien CG renders, this folder, the background plate, here's a picture used in the portal and finally there's a QuickTime movie of the finished alien portal shot. If you're a monthly member or annual member of lynda.com, you don't have access to the exercise files but you can follow along from scratch with your own assets. All right, let's get started.
