Flashing light on the mantis

- Now that we've got a flashing red light, let's get some interactive lighting on the mantis. What we want to do is have red kicks on the mantis in sync with the animation of our red light. To set it up, let's turn off a few things that we don't need, such as the gravity waves and all of this stuff here, so we just have the mantis and the background. So we'll put it in right here, this is our mantis layer. We don't have separate lighting passes like a spec pass that we could use to put specular kicks on it, so we'll do the next best thing and pull a luma key on the bright spots of the armor, and then only kick that with the red light. So, selecting the Read node, let's go to our Keyer tab and get ourselves a keyer node, hook the viewer up to that, let's float it so we can see what's going on, switching the viewer to the alpha channel, let's dial in a luma key that just captures those highlights.
