- To add to the sense of emergency in this whole shot we add that flashing red light. So let's add that animation now. Iv'e got the viewer hooked up down here at the very bottom after the pillar fix. We need to add our effect after this because we want it to cover the whole frame. So let's get over here. Click over here to position a point and select a reformat node to set the size of our roto. So let's set the output to be a box and it'll be six hundred... Force this shape. Three hundred. That will define the size of the roto we're going to attach which will define the shape of the card We're done with that. So now with the reformat node selected we can add a roto node. And let's hook the viewer up to the roto node so we can see what we're doing. We need kind of a searchlight shape. Sort of a fan shape that grads off very nicely. So, by-the-way, before we leave it let's name this, "red light." Back to roto... OK, let's select an ellipse. Put a little ellipse right here as a starting…
