- So we've got our portal animation finished. And we've got a big black whole in the middle here where we're going to put our portal city. This is the alien city that our alien has portaled through from the other side. So, instead of a big black whole we want something of interest so, that' right up here. So let's push into this area here. I'll move the viewer over. And hook that up to our Read node. We'll stop the play head here. So, we want to give this some life, instead of it being just a static image. So I want to create some animated light beams on the top of these buildings here. So the first thing we want to do is to put the play head on frame one. So when we draw our Rotos, the key frame will be on frame one. Okay. So let's select the Cusped Bezier. I'll start here on this top building. Click here, and I'll pan over here. Click there and close. And let's use Command or Control to add a little feather to both sides of it there.
