- The stabilized preview from the previous video showed that our pillar masks are ready to be composited into the shot. Let's see how we do that. So here is my Scanline render of my masks. I need to put them over here. I want to put it above the portal rays because I want to color those posts before I lay the rays down. So, I'm going to select this Scanline render node here. And shift M to add a merge node because I want to comp that over the pillars. Now I'll switch the viewer over to here and there they are. So this is now over the actual plate right here. Let's label this pillar lighting. So here's what we have. My card is being rendered by my solved camera and then we're compositing it directly over the background plate. But something funny is going on here. Let's push in a little bit. This right hand mask has drifted off of the column. The reason is, our plate cloud where we lined everything up was done on the undistorted clip, and now we're compositing the render for this on the…
