- So if your budget can afford it, you might really wanna consider investing in cinema lenses. Like I said before, lenses are gonna have the longest shelf life in terms of your investment in equipment. So, why choose cinema lenses? I mean, the obvious quality improvement is, is one of the big reasons. Why is the quality better? Better glass. The coatings that they put on these lenses are carefully considered in terms of flare and contrast retention. So all of those things have a lot to do with why they're priced the way they are. - From the get-go, these lenses are specifically designed for shooting video. So every single feature is clearly optimized for that workflow.
