(xylophone music) - [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Jim LaPier. Welcome to Up and Running with Vectorworks. This course will go over all the basic features and techniques of Vectorworks so you can hit the ground running. We'll begin by taking a look at the interface including menus and pallets. We'll also explore some working and environment conventions so we understand the conditions we'll be working in. Then we'll move on to creating geometry and then modifying that geometry to suit our needs. We'll create 3D elements and some layouts to leverage our geometry, add dimensions annotations and finally plot our drawings.
Whether you're a seasoned pencil drafter looking to embrace a CAD program or a novice drafter looking for drafting software this course will have you Up and Running with Vectorworks in just a few short hours so let's get started.
