Learn the basics of secrets management with HashiCorp Vault, a popular tool for protecting sensitive data.
- [Instructor] It's generally not a good idea to rely entirely on your own engineering team for something so critical as protecting data. Businesses don't write their own operating systems, or continuous integration systems, or source control tools. They outsource those capabilities to specialized tools. Why should secrets management be any different? What should we use to protect secrets? There is an open-source solution available that provides secrets management and encryption capabilities.
