- [Narrator] One of the really nice enhancements added to the V-Ray frame buffer in this particular set of updates is the ability we now have to interact more closely with scene elements when using either V-Ray RT as an active shade renderer or whilst using the V-Ray Advanced Engine in its IPR mode. To take a look at what I'm talking about here, our start scene has already been set up to use the RT renderer, and so let's open up the V-Ray Frame Buffer window, and then hit the Interactive Rendering button, which instantly shifts RT into Active Shade mode. We're RT on the CPU and GPU here simply because we have the new AL Shader applied to our bust object in the scene, which isn't as of yet compatible with RT on the GPU, although this isn't a problem as the options that we are looking at here are the same on both CPU and GPU.
