- If you are a premium member of the lynda.com online training library, you have access to the exercise files that are used throughout the duration of this training title. These files can be found in the Exercise Files folder, which I have placed for convenience's sake, on my desktop. You can, of course, save and access them from wherever you like. Now although the course itself has been recorded in 3DS Max 2016, the scene files were created in 3DS Max 2015 and so can be opened in either of those versions of Max.
There are scene files for most of the movies in this course, and they reside inside project subfolders that have been named according to the chapters that they relate to. It isn't necessary that you use these particular files in order to follow along. You can, of course, use your own scene files if you would prefer. In fact, if you are a monthly or annual subscriber to lynda.com, you won't have access to these exercise files, but again that same option of following along using scene files of your own is still very much open to you.
