- [Voiceover] Here's a sample arrangement of what you might want to include in your portfolio presentation. And assuming your presentation is scheduled as a one-hour block, but if you are given more or less time, you can adapt this to condense the content or add additional projects. For the first three to five minutes you'll want to have a quick introduction about yourself, what your interests are, and some of your background. For the next 20 minutes you'll want to discuss a project in detail. Start with a Problem Statement. The Problem Statement is the framing of the design problem. This can be something like: you are asked to design something to reduce the number of support calls or increase engagement on a particular feature. Next, cover your Design Process. This can be a simple slide highlighting what you did to approach the problem. Next, present materials that support your Design Process.
