Working through change
- Change. Something we all experience both in life and in our career. Change can be exciting, scary, and pretty stressful to deal with at times. It's easy to let change affect your mental and emotional state. However, if we can visualize each change as an opportunity to learn something new or try to look at the bright side, it can be a more enjoyable experience. Some examples of change I've experienced are moving to a new role. Or starting a new project with a team I've never worked with. And switching to a new tool that I had to learn from scratch. I worked across five different states and have gone through two acquisitions. Each of these experiences was unique and what helped me was developing a positive mindset and embracing change. I developed techniques for how to handle these changes. In this episode, it's my goal to share some of my lessons learned from working in an environment of constant change.
