From the course: Building and Maintaining Your UX Design Portfolio (2016)

Welcome

- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Diane Cronenwett, and welcome to this course on building and maintaining your UX design portfolio. As a UX designer, I've worked in the industry for almost 10 years at various companies. I've seen a lot of design portfolios, and I've been a part of the hiring process for selecting candidates. In this course I'll be giving some insight into how to create compelling UX portfolio to help you get your start in the UX field. I'll give you some guidelines on what elements go into a good UX portfolio, and I'll explain how to use story telling during the portfolio review on the standard UX interview process. This course is designed to help you create a UX design portfolio and a portfolio presentation tailored to getting hired in a corporate setting. This course is ideal for those who are early in their UX career, those who are new to the field and are trying to break in, or any UX designer who wants to understand how to create a good portfolio, and how to use story telling to showcase their work in a portfolio review. Let's get going.
