Storytelling and the portfolio review

- [Voiceover] In the UX field, it's fairly common to do a screening phone call with a recruiter, going over your experience and skill set. From there you will likely be asked to do a phone interview before interviewing in person. The phone interview will consist of either a recruiter or member of the team who will ask you to walk through a project in your portfolio. If you successfully make it into an in-person interview you may be asked to do a one hour portfolio review with the team. The portfolio review is a presentation that you'll make. It should be in a software like Keynote or PowerPoint or any other software that can help you tell your story. The portfolio review can include the members of the project team you might be joining, or the entire design team itself. If you are interviewing in a large company the invitation might be open to the entire design team, which can be up to 80 or more people.
