The light rectangle blueprint
- [Instructor] The V-RAY light rectangle, or the V-RAY area light as it could perhaps more accurately be called in Unreal is a planar light source that can be used in either a rectangular or circular shape. This particular light type being especially useful for simulating man made light sources in an environment such as lamps, lighters and so on. To add one to our scene, we can, again, use the hopefully by now familiar approaches of either coming to the modes tab and V-RAY asset section, or to the V-RAY for Unreal content, BP and Actors folders with a simple drag and drop being enough to add one to the level. To place the light exactly where we want it in the scene, let's set positional values of -270, 470, and 120. Once we have it in place, one of the things that we will notice about the light icon, if I just quickly hide everything else in the scene, is that it actually has a directional arrow on its gizmo that tells us…
