Rim light

- [Instructor] With our main, or key light, in place, time to help our product stand out from the background of the scene by adding a rim light to the setup. Now, these are designed to add light, or possibly just a reflection of light, along the outer contours of an object, in this case, our product, in order to help accentuate its overall shape or outline. This helps make it easier for our brains to quickly recognize the type of objects that we are viewing. To do that, from the Mode section of the UI, let's click on the Lights option so that we can then left click ane drag a point light into the level, naming it Rim light. For this particular scene, I'm going to set location values of x, to 27, y, to 49, and zed to 41. And, as we don't want to overpower the product with this light, given that it isn't meant to be the focus, we can lower the intensity setting to around about 1.5. We can turn shadow casting off for this light, given that we don't want to add any distracting shadows…
