- [Instructor] Now we're gonna dive into our material blend blueprint and really start getting this system working that's gonna enable us to have these really smooth, animated parameter changes just based on single button clicks; and there's a few things to think about because not only do we wanna fade up into one value when we have a button clicked is we wanna fade out of these other four values. So we're thinking about these four different variables at any given time, and we wanna create some, you know, a special blueprint system that allows for us to create really smooth transitions. Because not only in VR is just having smoother stuff work better so there's not a lot of aggressive movement going on. It's just a really elegant, classy thing to to be able to have these shader changes happen without any like hard, aggressive pops or, you know, just like aggressive transitions that really aren't what we want.
