Install Unreal Engine

- [Instructor] Before starting the course, you will need the latest version of the Unreal Engine installed which in my case is 4.19 along with the Substance Designer plugin which can be download from the Unreal Marketplace via a simple search. We can open the start file for the project, that is productz.uproject found inside the ProductZ start folder in the exercise files download with a simple click or double click if that is how your window system settings are adjusted. Once we have the project open, you will notice that we already have a level that has been saved in there. All you need to do is locate the level file and then double click in order to load it. You going to need to use the Save Current Level As command as you work through the exercises in this course in order to have a file that is ready to use in your next lesson simply because given the way in which the Unreal project structure works, if we try to supply levels for use with every video, then you would already have assets present in the project that we don't create until much later on which I am sure you can see could be very confusing for many new users. If you would like to see how the final product level works, there is of course a separate folder entitled ProductZ_Final that contains the finished projects that we can open and scrutinize or work with if we like although it is important again to note that we will already have folders and files present in this final version that you will see me create inside the videos for the course, something that there unfortunately is no current way to work around. We will begin the course using the start version of the project then after which I will be saving out a new level after the video exercise is finished in order to have a working file for use in the next lesson.
