- Before we begin creating the lighting for our product we need to set up a couple of volumes in the level that will help when we'll calculate what the lighting will do as it both bounces around the environment and is baked into light maps. One of these being an importance volume. From the modes tab of our U.I than, let's click in the search field and start to type the word importance. And then click and drag to drop a light mass importance volume into the scene. After which we can zero out its trans from settings so that it's sitting in the center of the level. Which is where our product is situated. Now this should encompass our product by default, but if it doesn't then just increase the scale values found in the details tab. And, what this particular volume does is tell on reels like mass G.I. engine where in the level it needs to apply higher than default lighting quality.
