Blocking out the scene

- [Instructor] Level blocking is a fast and easy way to iterate and test out the flow and composition of a space without spending too much time on final quality models and materials. For the purposes of this course, I'm only blocking out the furniture and major props. As you can see, I've already imported the architecture from a third-party CAD tool. In this level, since I've already done most of this area let me break it down a bit. But before that, let's fix the view mode to make it a little easier to see what's happening. Head up to the top and select unlit from the list. Much better. So most of these tables and chairs are simply made with simple geometry boxes that have been scaled down to size. But in areas like this chair I used the geometry edit mode to give it a slight skew to this backrest. This plant on the other hand is simply a sphere brush that's been dragged into the scene and scaled. And these bar stools…
