Now that you have your two speeds for the player to move at, you want to blend between the two smoothly. We have already set this up with your timeline but without the lerp node in your blueprint the timeline is useless. Once you add this powerful node, you now have a perfect blending machine. Using its alpha input you can smoothly slide between your two variables.
