- Hi, my name is Craig Barr, and I'm 3D artist and educator. I've been in the visual effects, animation, and game industries for nearly 20 years, and I've seen a lot of really cool things come along. However, nothing compares to virtual reality for experiencing your content. In this course, we examine how we can take our visualizations to an entirely new level with virtual reality. Using Unreal Engine and the HTC Vive, we look at how an existing project needs to adhere to some specific rules in order to be convincing in VR space. We'll also cover solutions for potential problems with 3D content and virtual reality, as well as options for how to navigate your scene.
Now, before taking this Virtual Reality for Visualization course, you might want to consider taking my other course, 3D Content Creation for Virtual Reality, which will provide you with a good foundation of VR principles. With that said, this course will get you into your scene and allow you to experience it in new and exciting ways with virtual reality. Let's get started with VR and visualization.
