- [Voiceover] The list of head-mounted displays is growing rapidly, as more hardware manufacturers jump into the game. Here is a preliminary list that looks at some of the more popular, current options available for virtual reality exploration and development. It's worth noting that the list also increases in price as it progresses. So here we start with the Google Cardboard which is an inexpensive option for virtual reality. There are many options available, and it works with Android devices. Next we move to the Samsung Gear VR which is a more formal virtual reality head-mounted display built specifically for Samsung smartphones. This is an interesting device that's actually built by Oculus, and, again, a Samsung smartphone is slide or placed directly inside of the headset, and, again, that's a one screen virtual reality solution.
