- [Instructor] The developers at Unreal are exploring new ways to design and create in virtual reality. The VR editor allows level editors and designers to interact with objects in virtual reality space. This approach opens the door to an entirely new way of creating in a digital space. Now, this work is in the early stages of development, and will certainly expand as we find more exciting ways to build for and with virtual reality. The idea is to allow content created for a virtual reality experience to be created within VR.
There are many advantages to this concept, the first being that it helps ensure that the content is being built fully VR ready as the design progresses. And, overall, the experience truly is closer to working with your hands, much like you would in the real world.
