Fixing the scene jitter and anti-aliasing
- [Instructor] So in our previous video, we noticed a substantial jitter to our outlines that really does detract from the quality of our overall effect and so rather than try and just simply ignore it and pretend that it doesn't exist, we need to set about fixing the problem. Now, the issue that we have here being not so much that the outline is jittering but is instead, for all intents and purposes, well, actually an anti-aliasing problem. Coming to the Edit menu then, we can click to enter the Project Settings and at the top, inside of the search bar, we can type the words anti alias where we will see that we're using the temporal method, which I think is causing our problems. Rather than assume that though, let's test to see if it is causing the problem by clicking the dropdown box to swap to one of the other types, which as you can see, has actually stopped the shifting effect of the outlines.
