- Now that we've applied our materials, our overall lighting from fine lights all the way up to environmental lights in our scene, we now want to get into working with some post processing effects, and that is effects that will really bring the scene to life and add a little bit more believability to it. And these are things that can happen in the Viewport that can affect the overall lighting or the appearance of how we view the game. And these can be different things like camera effects or overall quality of the Viewport.
Now there are a couple of really basic ones, so just rather quickly, let's take a look at what we can do with this scene here in regards to sharpness or how clean we can define the edges. And this is simply by displaying a couple of different flags within the Viewport to provide all these different effects. On this note here, when we see aliased non-crisp kind of edges within our scene or our environment here, and we can see that, especially when we're moving in and out we can see some issues there, we can simply go to the Show component up in the top left corner, and make sure we turn on Anti-aliasing.
And what this is going to do is give us a much more crisp, clean scene, especially when we get into trying this out for some game play here, just to make sure that everything is nice and crisp and clean, and will provide the nice sharp edges overall for our game. So simply by going to the Show menu and turning on Anti-aliasing is going to give you an overall cleaner view for the rendering of your game.
