Adding backgrounds and overlays with generators

- In this movie, we're going to take a look at the various backgrounds and overlays that are available inside of Red Giant Universe. And if you're inside of Premiere Pro, you might see the name of some of these gradient backgrounds and think that they're exactly the same as the ramp that's available to you, or just adding a regular gradient inside of After Effects. The same thing may be true inside of Avid Media Composer. Whatever is the case, if you have access to the exercise files, let's go to Chapter 1.6, Backgrounds and Overlays, open that into our timeline no matter if we're in Premiere or Avid Media Composer. Let's switch over our workspace to the effects workspace, and inside the Red Giant Universe categories, let's head over to the generators, 'cause these can actually also act as overlays.
