What you should know

- [Instructor] Before we get started, let's see who this course is for. This course is for software engineers looking to get into the AR and/or the AEC industry. This course is also for AEC professionals with minimal programming knowledge. There are a couple of things you should know. I expect that you've completed my previous two courses, AR Visualization 01, and AR Visualization 02, Basic Interactivity. I expect that, from these courses, you at least have a basic understanding of Unity and how to get around. You'll also need to install Unity 2019.2.4, which we will be using for this course. You need to do this via Unity Hub, as we'll be launching all of our projects from Unity Hub. You'll also need two or more AR-capable devices. This is because we'll be doing multiplayer interaction and you need to have two devices to be able to see the stuff in action. Lastly, you'll need the ability to print an image. We'll be using image targets as a reference to center our worlds. This course contains quite a bit of programming. If this is not your strong suit, don't worry, as I'll explain what I'm doing as I go. If you get lost, however, you can always get to the completed scripts from the exercise files.
