Depth of field

- [Narrator] One common effect that is really important and powerful is depth of field. And it's an interesting effect because it only applies to the camera and not to the scene view. To achieve depth of field you need to be using a camera inside the scene. Depth of field allows you to effectively take an object, bring it to the foreground, make it nice, crisp and in focus, and then make the background slightly blurry so that you can focus the user's attention on nearby objects. To demonstrate depth of field, I'm going to switch to the scene tab and position my view over here to this kind of ghost character so that the ghost character is here. And then behind him we have the fireplace, the chest and all kinds of other interesting stuff. So I'm going to set up this view here. I'm going to maybe move the ghost character slightly to the left side of the view. Just off center. Select the camera object and choose game object…
