Join Harrison Ferrone for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the exercise files, part of Unity: Working with Google Firebase.
- [Instructor] If you have access to the exercise files for this course, you can follow along with me step by step. We're going to be using a starter project, so nothing from scratch. The starter project is in the Exercise Files folder, under Firequest Starter. Inside the exercise files are individual chapter folders, each of which has a folder for every video. In each video folder, you'll find a Unity project corresponding to the start of that video. In later videos, you'll see that there is a Build.zip file in the chapter projects.
These are the Xcode builds that I've exported from Unity and compressed to keep the project file size down. Feel free to use them, but be aware that they're configured for my project, so you won't have access to the Firebase Console to change any of the data unless you change out the Google Services file and the project ID. Don't worry, we'll go over how to do that later on. I'd encourage you to export your own builds so that you have full access. If you want to follow along exactly, I suggest you head over to the Unity download archive and get version 5.6.1f1.
