Recording dialogues

- [Instructor] I've used and still use many DAW for doing audio recording and music creation. As mentioned before, you have Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and then Ableton Live. They all share similar tools and have developed a solid community following. Therefore you can use any of them and achieve the same results. In my case, I'll show you step by step how I record dialogues and then use Ableton to process them. The first step is to have a studio environment that allows you to record dialogue without too much echo. If when you record you need to repair your audio with reverb issues, you might want to consider adding acoustic walls. In that stage, you record your dialogue of your screenplay, making sure to record as many takes as possible, capturing some nuances of how the dialogue is delivered. After trying several times, you might have a take that truly captures the vision of the original screenplay. If you direct the actors doing the dialogues, make sure you don't exhaust their voices…
