Join Alan Thorn for an in-depth discussion in this video Object manipulation, part of Cert Prep: Unity Fundamentals.
- [Instructor] In this movie we're going to look…at object manipulation.…Now like viewport navigation,…this is a critical skill.…Using object manipulation we're going to be able…to take objects in the scene and move them around,…rotate them, and make them larger and smaller by scaling.…Now what you can see in front of you here…is the scene ObjectManipulation.unity…and this is being loaded up from the Project panel…simply by double-clicking on the scene ObjectManipulation.…
You'll notice that in this case…because we're getting thumbnail icons of these scenes…the full names of these scenes…are kind of dotted out at the end.…If you want to see the full length name of the scene…that's pretty simple.…Just move your cursor down to the bottom right hand side…of the Project panel and use this slider here…to control the size of the thumbnails.…If I click and drag and move that slider…all the way to the left,…which is the smallest version,…I can see the full name of every single scene…or asset inside the Project panel.…
So here I can see that the scene I have open…
