Configuring the IDE

- [Instructor] Now that we've created folders to store the files in our project and keep things organized, let's go ahead and take a look at how we can reorganize some of the panels in Unity to make it more efficient as you work on your game. To get started, let's remove the Services tab. We can right-click on it and click Close Tab. Next, we're going to drag the Project tab underneath the Inspector, and we'll also drag the Console tab over, as well. What we're trying to do is open up the space, so that we have more room to work on our Scene and our Game. Let's drag the Hierarchy panel over to where the Inspector is, and split the Hierarchy and the Inspector. The Hierarchy panel allows us to view the objects that are inside of our Scene. As you can see, we have our Main Camera. When we select this, we'll see all the properties associated with that camera in the Inspector panel, so I like to group these two panels together.
