Learn how to build C# scripts to make intelligent game objects and NPCs, and prepare for the scripting and publishing portion of the Unity Certified Associate exam.
- [Instructor] Greetings, and welcome to this Unity Certified Developer Course Scripting and Publishing presented by LinkedIn learning. My name is Alan Thorn, and I'll be your instructor as we take on the incredibly interesting and important subject of scripting with C-sharp inside Unity. Creating scripted gameplay behavior is an indispensable skill for any games programmer working inside Unity. You'll need to be dreaming in C-sharp commands and syntax if you want to succeed. In this module will explore the basics of creating script files in Visual Studio, printing statements to the console, writing useful programs for making objects move and react to the world. And then we'll move on to creating timed behavior, generating pathfinding data for making NPCs navigate environments intelligently using finite state machines to help NPC make decisions. And then finally we'll look at physics to create objects that behave realistically with game worlds. Now, there's a lot to see and do in this course. So come and join me as we explore scripting and publishing in Unity.
