Blocking out the window wall

- [Voiceover] Now I want to start to model the basic shape for this far wall which is this wall here in our reference which includes the window. So we have this wall which is effectively divided into three vertical parts: the right-hand side of the wall, the alcove section, and the left-hand side of the wall. So I'm going to start to carve out the details for this object here. I'm going to make sure that the object is selected inside the viewport and then switch to Edit Mode. I can do that down here by using the Menu option and choosing Edit Mode or I can use the Pie menu, using the Tab key on the keyboard so I'm going to press Tab and then enter Edit Mode. Now, inside Edit Mode I'm going to switch into Face Mode which is this mode here. So I'm going to select Face Mode and what I want to do is to start to insert some cuts to subdivide this wall here. Now there are different ways we can do this, one way is by pressing the Control + R key on the keyboard using the Maya style controls…
