Area lights

- In the preceding movie, we saw three core light types. These are the directional light for things like the sun and the moon. We also saw the point light for artificial lights like light bulbs and wall lamps, and ceiling lamps. And we also saw the spotlight, which is well for spotlights. But in this video, we're going to take a look at a more sophisticated type of light and that is the area light. Let me show you how to set that up. I'm going to move to the menu here choose game object light, and then select area light to bring that into the scene. At first glance, it looks pretty similar to the point light. We can see a point light icon, and we can also see a surrounding sphere indicating the range of the light but the area light is different.
