Adding and setting up watch models in Unity, part 1

and set-up 3D watch models that we are going to use inside our app. Now before importing the watch models, let me tell you something about 3D models in general. The 3D models that we use in AR apps or games, or even VR apps, are developed by 3D artists. So just like there's Photoshop for 2D graphics or artwork, Similarly, there are many softwares which can be used 3DS Max, Maya, Cinema4D. Now talking about file formats just like images have various file formats like jpeg, png, bmp. Similarly, 3D models also have various file formats such as OBJ, FBX, MAX, DAE, etc. But inside Unity, we can just import OBJ or FBX file formats. When a 3D artist creates a model inside his 3D modeling software that models looks something like this. What I mean to say is it has materials, textures, and a great reflection. But when we import that model into Unity, it might look something like this. And that is because the materials and textures from the 3D modeling software might not import correctly into…
