- [Instructor] Hi, today we're going to take a look at exporting from 3ds Max to Unity. There's a lot of little subtleties to this, and so I'm going to give you some of the better practices to use. So we're starting off in 3ds Max and I have my file open. Now, if you're working in Max, you can also set your project to exercise files 3ds Max, and then everything should line up. Now this scene is pretty simple. It's basically a plaza or a colonnade with a car in it. And so maybe this is something that you do for some sort of car ad or something like that. And when we export this scene, we do need to keep track of a number of different things. The first one is scale. So if I go to Customize units setup, I want to make sure that my units are set to metric meters. And that's because Unity works in those units as well.
