Who can use the free version of UiPath?

- [Instructor] If you visit uipath.com/community-license-agreement you'll see the Permitted Use And Licensees for UiPath Studio Community Edition. And this set of bullet points illustrates who is allowed to use the Community Edition and who is not. So you can see in the first bullet point there, if you're an individual, you may use the Studio and the Orchestrator product, which is a web application, will only be used for evaluation and training purposes. If you're a legal entity, which means a company, but not an enterprise, employees can use UiPath Studio, and again Orchestrator will only be used for evaluation and training purposes. Now finally, if you're an enterprise, you can use the UiPath Studio and Orchestrator for evaluation and training purposes. So what this means is, small companies can actually use UiPath Studio Community Edition to get work done, as long as you're not using Orchestrator to schedule and drive your process. If you're an enterprise, this demo license gives you the ability to be able to set up a POC project and evaluate the tool using both Studio and Orchestrator. These Community Edition licenses last for about 30 days, and then you've got to engage UiPath again to renew it. So all in all, the fact that UiPath even provides a Community Edition license with a free download is great because you can get your hands on the tool, see how easy it is to use, and even get a POC project done.
