- [Instructor] Actually I decided I wanted to add one more skill to this basic series. Here we're going to read a range of Excel data, then we're going to modify that Data Table in memory, because maybe we have some business logic that we need to apply to some immature input data, and then after we've modified it we'll write it back to a new Excel file. And this could be used for cleaning up proprietary data so you could hand off a copy with redacted fields, or you could simply be taking some raw Excel data, applying some business rules, and then outputting a different Excel file that has more meaningful information on it, that was derived from information in the raw Excel file. Let's dive in and take a look at what I'm talking about. I'm going to go ahead and delete this information from our output file, just so we have a fresh copy, and I'll control S to save that.
