Mainframe intro
- This will be a pretty exciting lecture, because I'm going to talk about the basics of automating mainframes. Many people don't have any experience with what a mainframe looks like. So here I'll talk about the very basics to get you oriented and then in the Ui Path Level Two course, I'll take it even deeper. So I've got Ui Path open here, and I'm creating a new blank project, I'll call this mainframe dash demo. Click on create, the essence of doing mainframe automation depends on having the Terminal activities installed, so if you haven't already installed the Terminal activities, make sure you go into your Activities panel, click on this button here to open up the activities management pane, and install the Terminal activities. Once you do so, you type in Terminal here and you can see that under app integration Terminals we've got a number of activities to choose from.
