- [Bryan] Now that we have a good idea about how to document processes using flow charts, let's start taking a look at the systems we use everyday to do our work. Humans perform daily processes that involve disks, and folders, and files on our own local computers, so increasing our Windows files systems skills is important to optimizing those tasks. Ideally, once we fully understand them, a software robot can take over some or all of that work. Having a better understanding of the Windows file system will help users optimize and standardize their manual processes. It will instill greater confidence when building software robots, and/or communicating problems you're having when using a robot that somebody else built. It will allow us to produce more accurate estimates about how long it might take to create a software robot, and finally it can help new robot users be more aware of the value that a robot brings to the table.
