Disk basics
- [Bryan] The Windows file system is comprised of disks and folders and files. Let's start with a quick look at disks. A computer's disk drive is simply a container for folders and files. RPA software robots will frequently need to interact with disks, and folders, and files. If you've never really thought much about your computer's disk drive, this file cabinet is a good analogy. The cabinet itself is the disk drive and you can see there it has two folders that can contain other folders that can also contain additional folders inside of those. And finally, files inside those folders. And usually you put meaningful names on the folders and you order them in a certain sequence so you can find information quickly. There are many different kinds of drives, but all of them have a very similar para dime. The disk itself is a container and then you have one or more folders within the disk and often folders inside those folders and finally files. Users might have more than one disk available…
