Connecting a robot

- [Instructor] In this video, we will connect our local computer which is a robot to the Orchestrator server so that we can then schedule our process to then execute on our remote robot machine. As you recall, Ui Path Orchestrator can drive unattended robots or it can serve assets to and aggregate the logs of attended robots. So to connect my computer to Orchestrator, I've navigated to platform.uipath.com and signed in. And this is the same system that can be accessed by demo.uipath.com you might see in other videos. The most current version of Ui Path has split the process of connecting a robot into two steps. First, we connect the machine and then we create a robot for that machine. So first I'll click on the machines tab and click on this plus button and notice we get these three pop-up icons. We're almost always going to click on this standard machine icon, but Ui Path does offer this machine template, which will allow us to create what they call floating robots in case your robot…
