In this video Emmanuel Henri demonstrates how to leverage the variables tool to add interactive data into the prototype.
- [Instructor] Variables are a quick way … to assimilate a form into your interactions … and we'll start working with them … as we continuing building our prototype. … So the first thing we're going to do … is create a brand new page that will be called welcome. … And we'll basically duplicate this page here. … So let's go ahead and duplicate. … And then this one we'll rename to welcome … and them change the Copy Main to Main like so. … So the first thing we'll have is a page that has a form … where people are going to be able to enter their name … and then we'll use that variable and pass it to the main. … So let's go and change the welcome … and just remove the card first. … So let's remove these guys. … And then let's remove this as well. … So this is going to be the welcome page, … and then the main page … is where we're going to get the variable from. … So how you create variables is by … going to the variable icon here … and clicking on it. … And then basically click on new variable. …
