Editing a design system
- [Instructor] Before there was an internet, there was print, and print was pretty rigid, because companies, especially the large ones, were very concerned about how they were perceived and regarded by the public. To impose consistency they would produce manuals that strictly outlined how their print materials were to be designed. These manuals in some cases were multi volume affairs. With the rise of the internet, they went out the window and chaos reigned, especially with digital design. Thankfully this has all come to an end with the rise of the design system and UXPin contains two of the more common ones out there, Material Design from Google and IOS from Apple. I'm not going to get into how to create a design system in UXPin, because the odds are pretty good you already work with one or are in the process of creating one for yourself.
