Now that we're familiar with the Tumblr Dashboard, it's time to get down to…business, and start setting up our Tumblr account, and our Tumblr blog.…The first thing I'm going to do is set up my avatar here inside of the Tumblr Dashboard.…If you remember, if you go over to the left-hand side, and choose Pick avatar,…that's automatically going to allow you to get into your system, whether it…be Mac or PC, and find a photo of yourself.…In this case, I have a headshot, and I'll just open that up.…It will automatically upload that for me into the Tumblr system, and once it's…uploaded, it will appear there on the left-hand side; pretty easy.…
You'll notice when I hover over it, it says Untitled. That's because I still…haven't set up the name of my blog.…So let's go down here.…You will notice in the Welcome to Tumblr section, it tells me to either post a…picture of myself, pick a theme, follow people, change my avatar;…well I've posted a picture of myself, and changed my avatar,…so I'm good to go there.…
