Welcome

- If you're somebody who works in the post-production industry like I do, you're probably always looking for better ways to streamline your workflow so you can minimize the amount of time that you are buried in paperwork, notes, and emails and maximize the amount of time and energy that you have to be creative. Hi, my name is Zack Arnold. I'm a film and television editor as well as the creator of the Optimize Yourself program. And if you're not already familiar with Trello, it is web-based project management software that's essentially the digital version of a giant whiteboard on the wall with index cards. But now, imagine those index cards on that whiteboard are accessible to you and all of your team members worldwide. And everybody can not only view those cards but they can communicate directly on those cards with you and all of your other team members. They can attach documents and share media, link to cloud-based storage platforms like Dropbox, assign due dates, and perform a wide variety of other functions and tasks that ultimately allow you to make your entire workflow 100% paperless, and even better, completely eliminate email from your life. By the time you've completed this course, not only will you have confidence using both the basic and more advanced features in Trello, but you're also going to know how to integrate outside programs and apps like Slack and Google Drive. And most importantly, you'll understand how to organize Trello to suit your own specific post-production workflow, whether you work on scripted content, unscripted and documentaries, or if you work with a high volume of individual videos. I have no doubt that you're going to love Trello as much as I do, and that it will completely change the way that you work. Okay, let's get started.
