Making room for creativity with your external brain
- [Instructor] The whole point of this productivity course is to help you organize your time, your energy and your attention, so you can get more work done by working smarter and not harder. However, one of the side effects of getting your work done in less time is that you have most likely created more space in your brain to generate new ideas. And while this is absolutely a wonderful thing, it's no different than FOMO or information overload and that your creative ideas can become overwhelming, and actually decrease your productivity and increase your anxiety if you don't have a way to process and organize them on a regular basis. This process of externalizing and categorizing your thoughts is called creating an external brain. And in this lesson, I'm going to walk you through how I have built my external brain workflow and why it's important.
