Linking cards to your main board
- [Narrator] Now that you have both your main board and your structure map built. It's time to start connecting them. One of my favorite features of Trello is being able to easily link cards to other cards, and include them in checklists so you can track your progress. I find this especially useful when doing my first edits, so I know which specific scenes or sections are complete and which aren't. In an unscripted workflow, the specific shoot dates may not be clearly defined as they are scripted. And in the documentary world you may be handed hundreds of hours of footage after shooting is complete. But it's still helpful to track your progress on your main board when applicable. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna open our main board in one tab, and then I'm gonna go up to the board index. And I'm gonna go to the structure map template that we just created but instead of clicking on it. I'm gonna right click and choose open link in new tab. So now, I have my structure map on one…
